Ridley College is a leading theological college dedicated to equipping men and women for God’s mission in a rapidly changing and increasingly complex world. We are seeking a passionate and committed Lecturer in Preaching and Pastoral Theology to join our dynamic faculty team.
Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering engaging units in Preaching and Pastoral Theology both on campus and online.
- Mentoring and supporting students in their academic and spiritual formation.
- Contributing to the community through participation in faculty meetings and collaborative work.
- Coordinating Chapel on campus.
- Fostering relationships with local churches and communities to enhance practical learning experiences.
- Conducting research and publishing in relevant fields of Pastoral Theology.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in parish leadership.
- Demonstrated expertise in Pastoral Theology.
- A commitment to the mission and values of Ridley College.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preference will be given to:
- An Anglican priest.
- A person with a PhD or DMin.
- A person able to be the Dean of the Anglican institute for the training and supervision of ordinands-in-training.
- A person able to lead and administer a DMin program.
