About the Role
Kids & Young Families Coordinator
Part-time (2 days/week)
The Kids & Young Families Coordinator will be someone who is passionate about helping children and parents become mature disciples of Jesus. They will have the calling, character and competency to not only build a vibrant kids ministry, but to also serve as part of the wider leadership team overseeing a young growing church.
This is a part-time paid position for two days a week, with the possibility of the role expanding as the congregations grows.
About Flow Church
Flow Church is a young growing church plant based in Burwood Victoria. Founded in 2021, our mission is to be a diverse Jesus-centred community that experiences and expresses the goodness of God in every sphere and season of life.
We are proudly Pentecostal, but also have a great love and appreciation for the global Church. We hold to the historic teachings of Christian orthodoxy as articulated in the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds, and align with the beliefs of our local movement, the Australian Christian Churches.
We also have a unique church model, where we alternate our weekly Sunday meetings between large gathering services at our main Burwood venue (1st & 3rd Sundays), and small group meetings in homes (2nd & 4th Sundays).
Our multicultural congregation of around 75 people are largely composed of adults between 20-40, including many young couples and families. As such, even though we do not presently have many children in regular attendance, we regard hiring for this role as an investment towards our near future.
