About the Role
Associate Pastor
Full-time
We are seeking an Associate Pastor who will focus on reaching the lost and building Christ’s church through leading two of these purposes. Our preference is for a leader who can focus on Mission as the primary responsibility, but we will build the role around the person first and their gifts. Both men and women are invited to apply.
The position is a 12-month contract, with the goal of continuing beyond that period. We prefer someone eager to stay three-plus years on the team at Laneway Church.
The position will also suit and equip someone looking to church plant in 2026 in Melbourne’s western suburbs (e.g. Tarneit, Melton). We are keen to invest in training and sending church planters for parachute plants, as we have done with Anchor Church Melbourne, in partnership with Reach Australia.

Laneway Church began in 2016 and has grown as a multicultural church. We are reformed and evangelical in convictions and a member of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches. We structure our church’s ministry around five purposes: Magnification, Mission, Membership, Maturity, and Ministry.
