In 2021 and 2023, the Ridley Centre for Children’s and Youth Ministry led two research projects that together present a snapshot of youth ministry and children’s ministry in the parishes of the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne.

Youth Ministry Futures Research Report

A snapshot of youth ministry health in the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne (revised ed. 2024)

This revised report on research conducted in 2021 contains newly released data on the numbers of volunteers and employed staff with youth ministry responsibilities in parishes.

The Children’s and Youth Ministry Futures Research projects were conducted in partnership with the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne Children and Young People Ministry Team and supported by external research consultant Rooftop Social. Both projects were funded by generous donations from two of Ridley’s financial supporters.
