The tuition fees that Ridley receives from our students only cover about 64% of the cost of providing our world-class theological education in the Evangelical tradition. The remaining costs are covered by generous gifts from individuals, churches and the Ridley Foundation. These gifts enable Ridley to continue to be a supportive college with full-time faculty, a well-resourced library, quality teaching and student facilities, and a strong focus on forming students for ministry.

Why some are giving
We give to Ridley because we want to see more and more people being trained to train others how to live for Christ and proclaim the Gospel. We need good theological colleges in Australia that provide accurate and thoughtful teaching of God’s word. Ridley does that.
I give to Ridley because I trust that they will raise up godly men and women to serve in God’s Church, teaching them how to understand and expound the Scriptures in a way that will grow that church in the future.
Regular giving is the most reliable way to give since it doesn’t rely on my memory. It also allows a small monthly amount to add up to a more significant amount over the year. It also helps Ridley to plan ahead knowing that money is coming in regularly.

Ridley’s mission is to train men and women for God’s mission in a rapidly changing and increasingly complex world. We have been privileged to see this mission bear fruit in the lives of our graduates as they head out into the world, formed and informed, to faithfully serve God in a diverse range of contexts. Our graduates have an ongoing and significant impact on the church and in our society, and we have seen how God has been at work through them.
One way you can support our mission is to leave a gift in your will (a bequest) to Ridley College. You will be investing in the next generation of Christian leaders and workers, and helping to spread the gospel around the world. Your bequest can be a fixed sum of money, a particular asset such as real estate, or a percentage of your estate.

An example of a will clause leaving a percentage of the estate to Ridley College: “I DIRECT my executors to divide the residue of my estate both real and personal into one hundred equal shares and give ten [or whatever proportion you decide] of such shares to Ridley College (ACN 004 087 450) of 170 The Avenue Parkville of the State of Victoria for its Christian religious purposes and I declare that the receipt of the proper officer of Ridley College shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my trustee.”
An example of a will clause leaving a fixed amount to Ridley College: “I GIVE free of all duties, payable in consequence of my death the sum of (insert sum of $) to Ridley College (ACN 004 087 450) of 170 The Avenue Parkville of the State of Victoria for its Christian religious purposes and I DECLARE that the receipt of the proper officer of Ridley College shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my trustee.”
