Graduate Diploma

The Graduate Diploma of Divinity is a one year course (if taken full time) that provides you with an excellent foundation in theology and Christian ministry. It will equip you to serve in your church and community with a more informed attitude to ministry. However, it is not designed to be sufficient training for people preparing for full-time ministry.  The hardest thing about the Grad Dip is choosing just two electives. That's probably why many students who complete the Grad. Dip. and move into the second year of the M.Div degree.

The Graduate Diploma in Bible and Ministry requires the equivalent of one year full-time study – 32 credit points (cps) - 16cps per semester. Each subject is worth 4 cps and most are completed in the semester.

While it is expected that most students will exit with the Graduate Diploma in Bible and Ministry, the award would need to be surrendered if the student were to proceed to graduate with the Master of Divinity and the rules for progression and choice of subjects would need to be fulfilled.
